The annual Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy ski trip was anything but typical this week as the entire school visited Shawnee Mountain for a night of skiing, snowboarding, tubing, great food, divrei Torah and, of course, the renowned guitar-led RTMA kumzitz.
“The boys made a kiddush Hashem on and off the slopes,” said Rabbi Yisroel Rich, director of student life.
RTMA Principal Rabbi Ami Neuman agreed. “The guys truly helped each other out on every trail,” he said. “Watching more advanced skiers and tubers coaching those with less experience instead of just going off on their own is one of the proudest things that I can witness as a school administrator.”
“And there are few greater opportunities for unity than when we go skiing as a school,” he said.
