When it became apparent that three students from Hebrew speaking homes required the establishment of an accelerated Ivrit track, Bruriah found an innovative and sophisticated solution. The students are joining Bonim Byachad, an Israel-based online distance learning program that integrates technology with a curriculum based upon Israel’s Misrad HaChinuch.
With their live teacher, Morah Idit, students learn in real-time via the ZOOM forum in a class that begins with attendance and includes complete student-teacher interaction, homework assignments and assessments. The three enrolled so far have exhibited great enthusiasm and interest and have jumped right into their learning. They especially enjoyed the recent visit by Bonim Byachad’s CEO Aryeh Eisenberg, who visited Bruriah to review a class in session as well as help ensure a smooth transition.
